Food plate (five food gps )

Today I want to share some important dietary habits by  food plate .Food plate contains five groups(grains,high quality protein,vegetable, fruits and low fat dairy products )
    vegetable contains maximum space in a plate and it is a good source of water and antioxidant. Choose as much as colour and,boost variety for eg bell peppers, squash, carrot,beans etc.
fruits are the good source of fibre, vitamins, minerals and sugar. berries(strawberry, blueberry) are good source of antioxidant which prevent from tumor, cancer and bone demineralisation.
Grains are the favourite food group which are present quater of my plate.  Grains we know only wheat, rice . The healthy grains options are : oats , millets,barley . Always introduce high fiber cereals than refined cereals. High quality proteins introduce to make your plate complete like chicken ,Egg ,beans ,nuts etc
Low fat dairy products are fat free milk, curd ,cheese etc. 250Ml of milk and 50gms of cheese are equivalent to 1 meal also .

Buddha shows the picture of true love. True love brings lots of happiness and if its not true it will bring suffer only. Very beautifully one buddha disciple explain true love is made up of four elements.
1)maitri- if you cannot offer happiness, it is not true love. It is very important to share and spread happiness otherwise it will suffer. it is not important if it is romantic or not but it must be true.
2)compassion-It is a kind of energy that can help to remove suffering. it transform suffering in you and in other person and if you cant listen and feel suffering then it is not true love that is why 'karuna' is the second element of love and it should be cultivated by u and the other person.
ROMANTIC AND NON ROMANTIC THAT IS NOT IMPORTANT, WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS WEATHER IT IS TRUE LOVE OR NOT TRUE LOVE.
3)JOY-If by loving you make the other person cry all the time and you cry all the time that is not true love. love never become the reason to cry because it is the true form of happiness. romantic and non romantic it is not important
4)INCLUSIVENESS-you do not exclude his suffering is your suffering. There is no individual suffering and happiness any more in true love.  Inclusiveness means non-discrimnation. There is no separation , no barrier between you and other person. In that spirit u never be in the you and me suffering or problems.
If romantic love has all these four elements, it can bring lots of happiness also.

Foods are always help us to cure from various deficiency and their recommended amount always depend upon individual's physical and environmental conditions.Sometimes our body react or unable to adapt in certain conditions but that doesnt mean we shift our system totally on medicines. Every individual can correct the primary symptoms of their health by regulating their energy in a systematic way. always make sure to get first counsel with dietitian and then shift your body on any medicine because i have seen many patients who can correct their body only by changing their lifestyle and get rid of medicine in primary stage.

Hi friends and family, my experience after treating people about their blood pressure, metabolic suppress conditions and obesity is good and shocking too because i have seen maximum people treat their body as secondary material. people are so much neglecting for their health and body and i always find them indulge in useless issues and stress. Women who are maker, manager and multitasking personality at our home but her health issues especially knee pain, muscles weakening and back ache are the part of daily routine. Some people as i should say max people today are suffer from malnourishment( Obesity, B.P, low bone density, lower muscle mass) because of stress and unmanageable dietary pattern. Without any counselling about actual conditions of your body never opt any treatment or diet. Most of the cases i heard that person go on crash diet for weight loss and they will go through such a hard diets that make their muscle loss but not fat loss in body which puts more weight after leaving that diets. As a dietitian i suggest always prefer healthy diet than crash for weight or any major or minor issues

Here is a list of 15 simple things to consider incorporating into your healthy routine to help balance your mind, body, and soul.

1. Exercise - Find an exercise you enjoy and start doing it regularly.

 Many drugs affect appetite, food absorption, and tissue metabolism. Some drugs (eg, metoclopramide) increase GI motility, decreasing food absorption. Other drugs (eg, opioids, anticholinergics) decrease GI motility. 
Some drugs are better tolerated if taken with food.

Healthy Hair Care Tips

*Make certain that you are eating a well-balanced diet so that your hair gets all of the nutrients that it needs to grow and remain strong. Drink plenty of water on a daily basis so that you remain properly hydrated. Do not take part in “fad” diets that have you starve your body or replace all of your normal intake with just one type of food. Treat your body well with proteins, vitamins and minerals, omega-3, zinc and selenium. if you want to have healthy hair.
*You must remember to protect your hair from the damaging effects of the sun, wind and rain. We have become accustomed to putting sunscreen on our skin so that we do not get skin damage from sun burns and we know that a wind burns can be more severe than a sunburn is, but many of us do nothing to protect our hair from the harmful rays of the sun. some home remedies are there to protect your hair from damage.
 Repair damage with an avocado
Mash a ripe avocado (pit removed) with one egg, then apply this home remedy to wet hair. Avocados are rich in vitamins, essential fatty acids, and minerals that will help restore luster to your hair,Leave on for at least 20 minutes, then rinse several times. Repeat once a week for damaged hair and once a month for healthy hair.

Rinse with tea

To give a natural shine to dry hair, use a quart of warm, unsweetened tea (freshly brewed or instant) as a final rinse after your regular shampoo. Tea can enhance hair color, so make sure to use a tea that works with your hair color. Blondes should use chamomile tea; black tea may darken their tresses. Brunettes should use black tea to enhance shine and enrich color.

Whip up an apple cider vinegar mask

Put the life back into your limp or damaged hair with this terrific home remedy: combine 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar with 2 tablespoons olive oil and 3 egg whites, then rub the mix into your hair. Keep your hair covered for about a half hour using plastic wrap or a shower cap, then shampoo and rinse.

Treat with botanical oils

Available at health food stores, olive, jojoba, and sweet almond oils are all wonderful elixirs for damaged hair. If your hair is thick and heavy, coconut oil works well. Dampen your hair and apply small amounts of the botanical oil until your hair is thoroughly covered. Top off with shower cap and warm towel for about 30 minutes, then rinse and shampoo your hair out.

Before the beach or after a swim, protect hair from harsh elements or chemicals with a homemade rinse of 1/4 cup apple cider mixed with 3/4 cup water to help cleanse hair, then follow with conditioner.

Nutrition in Hypothyroidsm

Hypothyroidism can be a tricky condition to manage, and what you eat can interfere with your treatment. Some nutrients heavily influence the function of the thyroid gland, and certain foods can inhibit your body's ability to absorb the replacement hormones you may take as part of your thyroid treatment. There's no such thing as a "hypothyroidism diet" that will make you well, but eating smart can help you feel better despite the condition. Here are some foods and supplements to limit or avoid as you manage hypothyroidism:
 Soy: Studies suggest that phytoestrogens in soybeans and soy-rich foods may inhibit the activity of an enzyme that makes the thyroid hormones. One study found that women who consumed soy supplements were three times more likely to develop hypothyroidism.
 Iodine-rich foods: Some forms of hypothyroidism are caused by a lack of sufficient iodine. In such cases, using iodized salt or iodine-enriched foods can be beneficial. But eating too much iodine can have the opposite effect and suppress thyroid gland activity. Check with your doctor before taking supplements.
Iron and calcium supplements: Taking iron or calcium supplements can also change the effectiveness of many thyroid medications.
High-fiber foods: Although a high-fiber diet is usually recommended, too much fiber may interfere with the absorption of thyroid medicines.
Certain vegetables: Cruciferous vegetables that are rich in fiber like broccoli, cabbage, spinach, kale, and Brussels sprouts can inhibit thyroid drug absorption. Reducing the amounts of such produce in your diet may help to control tsh levels.
Caffeine, tobacco, and alcohol can also influence the effectiveness of thyroid medicine. Ask your doctor for tips on how to regulate or reduce your consumption.
Antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help.
   Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial.
· Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, but ask your doctor beforehand.

Diet Plans and Herbal Supplements:Hypothyroidism doesn’t prevent or limit you from following a certain health lifestyle. People with hypothyroidism can choose to be vegetarian, eat protein-rich foods, or avoid allergy-causing ingredients.

You may also decide to use alternative medicines. Some plant extracts, like ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), coleus (Coleus forskohlii), gotu kola (Centella asiatica), and guggul (Commiphora mukul) have been suggested to benefit some symptoms of hypothyroidism. But evidence to support these claims are limited. Always speak with your doctor before making any big changes.NEVER SKIP MEAL IN HYPOTHYROIDSM. NUTRITION TIPS DURING PREGNANCY

During pregnancy get your required number of calories from all food groups, not just  fat  Include variety of foods in the diet like whole grains, pulses, legumes and nuts. Meat, poultry, eggs and fish provide protein.
 2)Get your dose of vitamin D through food like egg yolks, herring, sardines, tuna, salmon, fortified milk, fish liver oil, or through exposure to sunlight.

  3)Make sure you get your calcium from milk or other food. Take 600 ml of milk or milk products every day for the calcium content. Eating during pregnancy
  4)Increase your intake of omega-3 fatty acids. They are necessary for the      development of y Gain weight gradually. For the optimal growth of your baby you should gain around 0.5- 2 kg in the first trimester our baby’s brain, nerve and eye.
5)Take iron and folic acid supplements as prescribed by your doctor. It is important during the pre-conception and early pregnancy phase because this is when the foetus develops spine and nerve cells. Here are more reasons
6)Increase your fluid intake. Blood volume needs to increase during pregnancy to facilitate oxygen and nutrient delivery to both you and your baby.
7)Get lots of sleep. Hormonal changes also make you feel worn out. So make it a point to get few naps whenever possible.

avoid acidic foods and increase alkaline foods

obesity brings so much pains physically (blood pressure, sugar, fatty liver , fatty pancreas, pcod, high uric acid etc) and mentally(stress, depressionetc).Today, I want to share some acidic and alkaline foods that really helps you to make balance in your body. most important things you must avoid acidic foods and introduce alkaline foods atleast 3/week to avoid max problems regarding digestion  and  pain of high uric acid . Acidic foods are responsible for creating acidity and to increase pain in joints and may leads to obesity.
Acidic Foods to Cut Out 
Carbonated sodas, energy drinks
Popcorn, cream cheese, buttermilk, pasta, pastries, prunes, pork, beer, pickles,
chocolate, roasted nuts, artificial sweeteners
Coffee, sweetened fruit juice, beef, white bread, wheat, cranberries, distilled water
Wine, eggs, sour cream, some yogurts (those with live active cultures)
Alkaline Foods to Add 
Apples, almonds, tomatoes, grapefruit, corn, mushrooms, olive, soybeans, peaches, bell
peppers, pineapple, cherries, wild rice, apricots, strawberries, bananas
Avocados, green tea, lettuce, celery, peas, sweet potatoes, egg plant, green beans,
beets, blueberries, pears, grapes, kiwi, melons, tangerines, mangos, figs, dates
Spinach, broccoli, artichoke, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, cucumbers,
lemons, limes, kale, seaweed, asparagus, radish, collard greens, onions
Watermelon, dandelion greens, orange juice, mineral water.

Lifestyle--It is the way of life we make according to our comfort in work and at home as well simultaneously ignoring your diet....and your loved ones...If your test report shocks you with high glucose level then dnt think for medicine...only tie your shoes ...make proper schedule and give gud time to yourself.
